Hotel Lancelot faces Reducto beach across the promenade in the centre of Arrecife, which puts the only city beach on Lanzarote directly outside the door and the shops of Calle Leon y Castillo five minutes behind it. The whole property, rooms and common spaces alike, was renovated in 2022. Guest rooms are cosy and spacious, with wide beds and a small living area, air conditioning and a bath. The roof terrace and sun-bathing area look out over the low white rooftops that Cesar Manrique's building rules imposed across the island, and there is a restaurant, a cafe and a fitness centre whose programme changes with the seasons. Guided tours are arranged in house, water sports run from the beach opposite, and Lanzarote Airport is six kilometres south at Guacimeta.
