Checkin Diamar overlooks the sandy Reducto beach in Arrecife, capital of Lanzarote, and it is one of only a handful of addresses on the island where a three-star room can face the sea from a city street. Rooms are air conditioned with satellite television, and the private bathrooms come with a bath and a hairdryer; some rooms carry a sea view. Two restaurants, a bar and a breakfast buffet cover the eating, and there is a terrace and a meeting room as well as family rooms and facilities for guests with reduced mobility. The centre begins outside, with shops, bars and restaurants within five minutes on foot and the Charco de San Gines lagoon about ten. Lanzarote Airport and the Arrecife ferry port are both five kilometres away.
