About this hotel

Rosabel keeps things simple 300 metres from Poniente Beach, with Benidorm's old town 350 metres in the other direction, a genuinely central pocket for a budget-focused stay. Rooms come air-conditioned with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen cable TV and a balcony, each with a functional modern décor and tiled floors. Guests staying here get access to facilities at Hotel Melina, thirty metres away, including an outdoor pool with hot tub, a buffet restaurant and a night club with live music, effectively extending Rosabel's own amenities without the higher room rate that Melina itself commands. The lounge bar on-site offers drinks and snacks through the day, and a varied buffet breakfast is served in the dining room each morning.

Our take

This works for budget-conscious travellers who want a central position near both Poniente Beach and the old town, and who are happy to walk thirty metres to Hotel Melina for pool and restaurant access. The rooms themselves stay basic, so anyone wanting resort-style amenities directly on-site should book Melina or a comparable full-service hotel instead.

  • ✓Use the shared pool and restaurant at Hotel Melina, thirty metres away, rather than expecting them on-site at Rosabel itself.
  • ✓Book early for Melina's night club if live music is part of your plan, since access details vary by season.
  • ✓Walk the 350 metres into the old town for dinner options beyond the buffet on quieter evenings.

Why guests love it

For the price, being 300 metres from Poniente Beach and 350 from the old town felt like excellent value, and the short walk to Hotel Melina for the pool and buffet restaurant meant we still had full resort access despite the simpler room. The balcony was a nice extra for morning coffee, and the lounge bar downstairs covered the odd snack without needing to head out. Not glamorous, but the location did the heavy lifting.
