Why guests love itStepping out onto a street that ran directly off Plaça Sant Jaume, the site of Barcelona's Roman forum two thousand years ago, gave the whole stay a sense of history that felt genuinely different from a standard old-city hotel. The narrow streets around us were full of shops and small museums, and the Picasso Museum ended up being an easy, unplanned stop on our second day. Being this close to the cathedral and Las Ramblas meant we walked everywhere without a second thought.
