RICE Palacio de los Blasones takes its name directly from the blasones, the carved coats of arms set into its facade on Calle Fernan Gonzalez, a detail marking it out as one of the street's original noble houses. The cathedral sits three hundred metres away, close enough that the walk barely counts, and Plaza Mayor and San Lorenzo Church are both five minutes on foot. Suites keep functional modern decor over wooden floors, many with a balcony, and all include a minibar and a separate lounge with satellite TV. The fountain terrace and elegant restaurant serve creative regional cuisine, and Burgos itself sits directly on the Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage Route running past the front door.
