Two beaches, two very different fronts

Both properties trade the Levante skyline view for a calmer outlook, useful for travellers who want their photos to show open sea and the island itself rather than tower blocks stacked along the promenade behind them.

Benidorm earned its skyline the hard way, growing from a fishing village into Spain's tallest resort town within a few decades, and the two beaches still carry that split personality. Levante is loud, built-up and unapologetic about it, its promenade lined with bars that stay lit past midnight through the Rincón de Loix strip behind it. Poniente, curling west from the old town's rocky headland toward Elche Park, keeps a slower pace, its beachfront apartment blocks and family hotels facing a wider, calmer bay under the same Alicante province sun. Both share the same fine golden sand and the same Mediterranean water, so the choice between them is really about atmosphere rather than beach quality itself.
